Stöckli Skis

Founded in 1935 by Josef Stöckli, Stöckli is a Swiss ski manufacturer and is one of the last ski brands still produced in Switzerland in relatively small, premium volumes.

Known for meticulous craftsmanship, race‑proven performance and a “quality over quantity” philosophy, Stöckli hand‑builds skis in its Malters factory near Lucerne that are prized by World Cup athletes and demanding enthusiasts for their precision, stability and refined on‑snow feel.

LASER SERIES

Stöckli’s Laser series are high‑end piste skis that share race‑inspired construction, and are tuned for different turn shapes, speeds, and skier abilities.
All use sandwich construction with quality wood cores, metal layers, and technologies like Solid Metal Edge, Full Edge Contact and Racing Sidewalls for strong edge grip and a damp, precise feel.

Laser SC

An extremely versatile sport carver sitting between the Laser SL and GS for mixed turn shapes. The Laser SC excels in both short and medium turns, offering great edge hold combined with a forgiving character for a performance ski.

Size Optimized Construction (flex and build adapted by length), Solid Metal Edge, torsion‑control cut‑outs in the metal for easier turn initiation.

The Laser SC is designed for advanced skiers wanting one frontside ski to do almost everything on‑piste without full race stiffness.

Laser WRT & Laser WRT PRO

Built for expert, powerful skiers wanting race level performance combined with more versatility than a FIS SL/GS ski, the Laser WRT & WRT PRO are extremely precise, very reactive and can make small to big turns depending on how you apply pressure.
Built with a stiff race‑like layup, race plates/bindings, technologies from World Cup such as CSC carbon, very high torsional stiffness.

For whom: Expert, powerful skiers wanting a race level carving ski with competition DNA.

MONTERO

Stöckli’s Montero series are frontside‑focused all‑mountain skis. We stock three models, which differ by waist width, turn radius, and how demanding versus playful they feel.
The Montero skis have sandwich construction with wood cores, metal, tip/tail rocker, and Stöckli tech like Flex Torsion Control (FTC) and Full Edge Contact (FEC) for strong grip and smooth turn entry.

Overview of the Montero family

Montero AS – Narrowest, quickest, most “slalom‑like” Montero.

Montero AX – Classic 80 mm daily front-side driver, very versatile and playful.

Montero AR – Widest and most stable, GS‑style, biased to longer turns and higher speeds.

Montero AS

Built with a 76 m waist, the Montero AS is the narrowest and most “slalom-like” model,  a quick, piste‑biased all‑mountain carver; the most short‑turn‑oriented of the series with turning radius of 13.7 m / 166 cm and 14.8 m / 172 cm.

A lively and energetic ski, with rapid edge‑to‑edge transitions and strongest in short to medium turns on firm snow, the Montero AS will please advanced/expert skiers who like a carving “SL‑ish” feel, high edge angles, and fast, precise turns.

Montero AX

The Montero AX is Stockli’s frontside‑oriented daily driver with an 80 mm waist and mid‑teens turn radii depending on length. The Montero AX performs at all speeds, with a smooth, confidence‑inspiring character when skiing slowly, powerful when pushed, it’s a great choice for strong intermediates to experts wanting one ski for groomers, a bit of mixed snow and light soft‑snow days, without race‑ski harshness.

Montero AR

The widest ski in the Montero series, the Montero AR offers the most All‑Mountain do-anything-go-anywhere performance and prefers longer, faster arcs and more mixed snow. Built with an 84 mm waist and a 16 m radius / 176 cm and a GS‑inspired sidecut, the Montero AR  is calmer at speed than the AX and AS, with more surface area for chopped up snow and light powder. An ideal ski for advanced and expert skiers who like GS‑style frontside skiing, higher speeds, and want better performance in variable or soft snow.

STORMRIDER SERIES

Stöckli’s renowned Stormrider series are metal‑laminated freeride/all‑mountain skis.
Originally built for aggressive off-piste charging, the latest generation Stormriders offer more nuanced and versatile performance, with each model offering a different character thanks to differences in width, rocker and flex that shift the balance between edge grip and soft‑snow float. All share a refined sandwich layup with metal for damping, race‑inspired construction details, and rocker profiles tuned for off‑piste capability but with a calm, precise Stöckli feel.

Overview of the Stormrider Family

Stormrider 88 – Narrowest, most frontside‑oriented Stormrider, strong on firm snow and mixed conditions.

Stormrider 95 – Middle width and “50/50” all‑mountain freeride daily driver.

Stormrider 102 – Widest, most soft‑snow and freeride‑oriented while keeping good edge hold.

Stormrider 88

An all‑mountain ski with a frontside bias, the Stormrider 88 excels on piste, on hardpack and on day‑to‑day mixed resort snow. With an 88 mm waist providing good grip on hard conditions, the Stormrider 88 is quick edge‑to‑edge, precise on hardpack and a good choice for advanced skiers who spend most time on piste or in mixed conditions and want Stormrider stability without going too wide.

Stormrider 95

The “one‑ski quiver” Stormrider for all‑mountain freeride and resort skiing, the Stormrider 95 has a stiffer flex and retains the most character of the earlier generation Stormriders. With a  95 mm waist and reference radius of 17-18 m / 180 cm, the Stormrider 95 has a freeride‑style tail shape and rocker influence from the 102, plus a slightly more progressive mount point compared with older versions, to improve slash‑ability and off‑piste handling. The ideal ski for advanced and expert skiers wanting a high performance 50/50 on‑/off piste ski that still feels precise and damp but is playful enough in soft and variable snow.

Stormrider 102

Stockli gave their widest Stormrider a new personality and the 102 is a soft‑snow and freeride‑leaning all‑mountain ski for bowls, off‑piste, and storm days that still works in mixed conditions. With a 102 waist and longer 19-21 m radius / 186 cm, the Stormrider 102 has a surfy, stable and soft‑snow friendly feel, with more planing surface and rocker for float and looser turn release. Ideal for skiers riders prioritizing off‑piste, bowls and deeper days who still want Stöckli’s quiet, confidence‑building feel in tracked‑out or firmer sections.

Nela 88

The Nela 88 is Stöckli’s women‑specific 88 mm all‑mountain freeride ski, meant as a one‑ski quiver for strong piste and mixed‑snow resort skiing. Designed for intermediate and expert women skiers wanting to ski both on‑piste and off‑piste, the Nela 88 is very versatile, equally at home skiing groomers, chopped snow, bumps or a few powder laps, with a bias toward resort all‑mountain rather than pure powder.

A great ski for intermediate‑to‑expert women who like to ski the whole resort, value high‑speed carving on groomers, but still want something forgiving and nimble in bumps and variable snow.
