Volkl's Blaze 104 was very popular last season and comes with new graphics for 2026. These skis offer playful freeride performance with a lightweight build that made them great freerando skis and are excellent fun whether mounted with alpine, touring or telemark bindings.

The 104 is a light, agile powder ski that is constructed with maneuverability rather than brute force in mind. The result is a ski with plenty of width for powder days yet with a playful character, a ski that's really good company whatever the offpiste conditions.
Built with a full length Hybrid Multilayer Woodcore, the Blaze 104 features Volkl's new Green Core construction. The lightweight wood core incorporates recycled materials, including plastic bottles, underlining Volkl’s commitment to environmental sustainability.
This choice of materials not only positively impacts the environment, but also provides a more tonic flex, improving responsiveness and overall performance.
The Blaze 104 features Volkl's latest 4D Radius sidecut design, an innovation not yet offered by any other manufacturer and that sets a new benchmark for the ability to vary turn radius and combine easy handling with rock-solid stability.
In powder, crud and variable snow the Blaze 104 rides high thanls to the progressive rocker and Suspension Tip design, with a rubbery, shock-absorbing material on the tip and tail edges.
In narrow terrain and/or variable snow conditions the 104's reaction time is impressive, especially for a powder-width ski.

Hybrid Multilayer Wood Core:
A particularly light and complex wood core specially developed for freeride and touring skis.
Lightweight paulownia in the centre for flexibility with poplar at the edges for stability, and beech underfoot for binding retention.
In the center of the core, a CNC-milled Isocore area contributes to optimal liveliness and dynamic development.
Green Core:
All GreenCore woods are FSC certified,and bonded with environmentally friendly glue. Volkl use recycled PET stringers.
4 Radius Drive
A Völkl innovation not yet offered by any other manufacturer that sets a new benchmark for the ability to vary the turn radius and combine easy handling with rock-solid stability.
4 Radius Drive provides maximum versatility with increased stability on hard surfaces, and improved performance on soft snow.
Tip & Tail Rocker:
Bends up only in the shovel and tail zones, with a camber shape in the middle
Full Sidewall:
Direct and strong powertransmission with full length sidewalls.
Titanal Binding Platform:
A thin Titanal layer (0,3 mm) under the binding delivers the necessary strength to the ski so that binding screws offer reliable hold even in the toughest conditions.
Tip & Tail Suspension:
Inserts made of elastic TPU material on the edges of the tip and tail act like bumpers in wind-blown or tracked snow, providing shock-absorbing elasticity that ensures better stability and catch-free float.
