Since their introduction three seasons ago, the Scarpa 4-Quattro SL have gained a solid reputation as excellent hybrid ski boots, boots that are equally useful for both resort skiing and for free-rando touring. For 2026 Scarpa have updated the 4-Quattro SL with new colours and small modifications. 

Weighing in under 3 kg per pair and with a 120 flex rating, these boots provide a very good combination of power, responsiveness and comfort for advanced skiers looking for one boot for both alpine and backcountry skiing. The Pebax Rnew shell with Carbon Core technology ensures a lightweight yet stiff structure, and the four magnesium micro-adjustable buckles offer precise fit and power transfer. The 4-Quattro SL has a 100 mm last width, making it moderately low volume, especially around the instep, while the thermoformable Intuition liners provide good control, comfort and insulation. Skiers with high volume and wide feet may find the Scarpa 4-Quattro GT more suitable.

The 4-Quattro SL sole works with all touring bindings and with Gripwalk compatible alpine bindings, these are the ideal boot for use with hybrid bindings such as the Armada Shift, Marker Duke PT and ATK Hy. With 61° of cuff movement the 4-Quattro SL offers efficient uphill travel.
The Scarpa 4-Quattro SL is a great choice for skiers wanting a single boot for a variety of mountain adventures.

CARBON CORE SHELL PEBAX RNEW
Low-volume, made of Pebax® Rnew® sourced from renewable materials, featuring CARBON CORE technology. The overmolded carbon insert allows for direct transmission of impulses from the foot to the ski, ensuring greater precision and control even in the most demanding skiing conditions.

SPEED LOCK 4
New mechanism made of aluminum and reinforced to ensure performance suited for freeride use. Swapping from ski to walk is quick and effective thanks to the ergonomic lever and pull strap, designed for comfortable use even with gloves.

4 BUCKLES
Four magnesium levers, lightweight and durable, designed for use even while wearing gloves. Micrometric adjustment and steel cables ensure even pressure distribution of the closure while maintaining a low weight.

POWER STRAP PVC FREE
PVC-free Velcro® closure with a lightweight design that ensures constant contact of the tongue on the shin, even during rapid direction changes. It also integrates RECCO technology, allowing professional rescue teams to quickly locate the skier in case of an avalanche accident.

4PRO FLEX SL
Fully thermoformable Intuition liner, designed for optimal customization to the skier’s foot, made with exclusive Intuition Foam. The closed-cell foam structure ensures high thermal insulation and a high level of comfort. The ORTHOLITE footbed is made from recycled material.

Presa
Presa® represents the most advanced result of SCARPA's in-house Research and Development Department in the field of soles: an environment of exploration and technological innovation, where expertise, experience and scientific research blend to create high-performance solutions. Each of the Presa® soles is meticulously developed with the shoe's context of use in mind. Measurement of key performance indicators, including dry and wet grip and durability, is critical in selecting the best sole depending on the activity for which the shoe is designed.

Ortholite
Advanced insole technology that significantly improves comfort, cushioning and breathability, creating a cooler, drier and more hygienic environment inside each shoe.

RECCO
The RECCO® reflector, integrated into equipment and clothing, enables professional rescuers equipped with RECCO® detectors to quickly locate a missing person, representing a global standard technology for avalanche rescue. Such a reflector requires no power, activation or maintenance and provides support to be searchable at all times. Please note that it does not replace personal self-rescue devices such as avalanche transceivers. RECCO® SAR helicopter detectors allow large areas to be quickly scanned during searches for missing persons.

INTUITION
Intuition liners represent the absolute benchmark in the world of thermoformable backcountry liners. Made from exclusive materials, they offer a durable, pressure-point-free fit while maintaining comfort. With excellent thermal insulation and extraordinary light weight, they ensure maximum efficiency and performance even in the most demanding conditions.

Grip Walk
Soles designed to significantly improve walking over traditional alpine ski soles while maintaining high performance and increased safety while skiing. The sole/binding interface is optimized to ensure precise transmission of impulses to the ski and accurate release, increasing both safety and control while skiing. To ensure full compatibility and optimal performance, original GripWalk bindings or 100% compatible Tour bindings, easily identified by the official logo, must be used. Standard alpine ski bindings without the GripWalk logo are not compatible.
