Fischer Outback 68 Crown/Skin Xtralite Ski 2026

Fischer's Outback 68 Crown/Skin Xtralite is a versatile nordic touring ski which offers great performance whether you're touring the Norwegian fjells or skiing on prepared cross-country tracks.

The Outback 68 Crown/Skin Xtralite has a nordic camber with Fischer's Nordic Rocker tip design to facilitate turn initiation. These skis have Fischer's Offtrack Crown fishscale base plus a notch for attaching Fischer's short Easy Skins (skins not included, available as accessories). Built with a relatively narrow traditional 68-59-64 mm sidecut, the Outback Crown 68 performs well in harder snow conditions and on prepared tracks, the nordic camber, narrow shape and low weight letting it glide effectively on the flat and in undulating terrain. Fischer's Offtrack Crown base provides effective grip while for steeper slopes and icy conditions simply add the Easy Skins for additional grip. This combination of waxless base and short skins allows you to optimise grip and glide depending upon the snow conditions and terrain. Full length metal edges provide reliable grip in all conditions.

Weighing in under 2 kg a pair, the Outback Crown 68 is a modern nordic touring ski that will take far into the backcountry.
Skis sold without bindings and without the Easy Skins, available as accessories.

Built with Fischer's wood core with integrated air channels that reduce weight. Light, strong and with an even flex distribution.
Flex:
Nordic camber with Fischer's Nordic Tip Rocker, 10 cm contact point.
Syntec Base:
Stone ground universal stone finish for optimal sliding properties on all snow types.
Offtrack Crown Base:
Fischer's waxless fishscale base provides effective grip.
Easy Skin attachment notch:
For steeper or longer climbs, and icy conditions simply clip in Fischer's short Easy Skins (not supplied) for additional grip.
Metal edges:
Full length steel edges provide reliable grip regardless of the type of snow.
