Blizzard have updated their excellent Zero G touring skis for 2026. The new models have updated shapes and construction providing even more versatiity while maintaining the performance the Zero Gs are reknowned for.
The Zero G 88 takes over from the much appreciated Zero G 85 and has a slightly wider footprint with a 118-88-102 mm sidecut and 19 m radius (171 cm), giving these skis more float and a faster turning.
With a name like Zero G these skis have to perform uphill and weighing in at only 2.26 kg / pair (171 cm) they certainly do, feeling light yet secure when skinning, letting you navigate the backcountry with ease.

The Zero G 88 features Blizzard's latest cutting-edge Trueblend Tour 2.0 wood core with ash reinforcement resulting in a light yet strong construction. to create a smooth and damp flex.
Buildng on the latest concepts for defining ski shapes, Blizzard have given the Zero G 88 a 5-radius sidecut performing turns with ease in a variety of turn shapes giving these skis supreme versatility whether you're skiing open bowls, narrow couloirs or through the woods.
While not designed for skimo racing, the Zero G 88s have skin notches in the tips for tourers wanting to use elasticated skin loops for faster transitions from ascent to descent.

A worthy successor to the Zero G 85, the 88 combines minimal weight with enhanced downhill performance in the backcountry. The Blizzard Zero G 88 is an excellent touring ski that will take you far into the mountain and back with panache.
