New for 2026, the Black Crows Sato is an energetic, versatile all-mountain ski designed to appeal to a wide range of intermediate and advanced skiers. Sitting at 88mm underfoot, the Sato strikes an ideal balance between carving precision on groomed pistes and playful manoeuvrability in more variable terrain. With its refined shape, moderate 17-metre turn radius, and classic camber underfoot, the ski responds intuitively through turns, delivering a ride that feels both smooth and exciting.

Constructed with a lightweight poplar wood core and fibreglass laminates, the Sato offers a surprising level of power and stability without feeling overly stiff or demanding. The even, progressive flex makes it accessible for developing skiers while still providing enough backbone for more experienced riders to push their limits. On groomers, the Sato shines with easy turn initiation, reliable grip, and lively rebound, making it a joy for carving medium to short turns.

Off piste, the Sato handles bumps and packed-out trees with ease thanks to its predictable flex and directional design, although it’s not intended for deep snow or freeride charging.
