Black Crows Atris Ski 2026

Black Crows took a brave decision 3 winters ago when they changed the character of their best selling ski, giving the Atris a slightly narrower 105 mm waist and with a more angular, less rounded, heel. Black Crows wanted to make the Atris more accessible and versatile and they succeeded. The tail especially is much more alpine and sharp and provides more support at the end of the turn, with even more rebound and dynamism in hard conditions. In soft snow the Atris gives excellent performance and agility for a 105 mm waisted ski, the tips fluid and easy to steer. 
The 2026 Atris has a character more in the spirit of a mid-fat all-mountain ski rather than a big mountain ski. The Atris shines in soft snow, offering excellent float that feels more like a wider ski despite the narrower waist. It remains playful and surfy, encouraging dynamic skiing with easy tip pivots and smooth flotation. In variable snow and chopped up conditions the Atris works very well, providing a smooth, confident ride with effective edge grip and pop that rewards a dynamic skiing style. While not designed purely for groomers, the Atris delivers respectable stability and control on harder snow. It is more versatile than the previous iteration, blending freeride and all-mountain capabilities.
The Atris is an excellent high-flying all-purpose ski, very agreeable to ski both inbounds and offpiste and even free-rando touring, thanks to it's very correct weight (especially if coupled with a light touring binding).
