Plum Serak 6 + Stopper

The Plum Serak is an ultralight touring binding, weighing only 290 g per ski with ski brakes. Based upn the popular Oazo, the toe unit has been completely re-designed to provide intuitive step-in, making the Serak more user friendly. The heel unit has also been updated and now has a flex compensation mechanism to improve skiability and safety.
The Serak has adjustable lateral release with a range of 4-10 DIN and is available with "U" springs"  with release settings of 4, 6 or 8 DIN.

The redesigned toe unit comes complete with a crampon slot, which can be removed to save weight if not required.

The heel unit has a baseplate providing 4 mm of flex compensation. Plum recommend a space of 4 mm between the boot sole and heel unit, making a total of 8 mm compensation to allow the ski to flex naturally and avoid pre-release. The heel unit has a base plate with 20 mm adjustment for boot sole length, equivalent to 3 mondopoint boot sizes. In walk mode there are three options, flat, +40 mm and +54 mm, the same as the Oazo. 

Plum bindings are used by the French military who appreciate their reliability, solidity and low weight. The Serak is a light yet strong touring binding and comes with a 5 year guarantee.
The Oazo has a loyal following for it's efficiency and the Serak provides the same performance and is even easier to use. Weighing only 580 g per pair including ski brakes, the Serak is a great choice for efficient backcountry travel.
