Dynafit Mezzalama Binding 2025

Dynafit have been busy developing ever lighter and more sophisticated skimo race bindings, and it's great to see the fruits of this effort already available this winter. The Mezzalama binding weighs only 125 g per ski but comes with ski crampon slots and with fully adjustable vertical and lateral release, making this the lightest skimo race binding with fully adjustable release.
Most skimo race bindings use "U" springs to determine vertical release. These are light, but offer a less reliable release function than the separate pins used on most "efficient" and "free rando" insert bindings. The Mezzalama displays superb design skiils on the part of Dynafit with adjustable release of 5-10 DIN for both vertical and lateral release.
Like the new DNA bindings, the Mezzalama features Dynafit's Icebreaker toe pins that help clean out ice in the boot inserts for a faster and more reliable step-in.

The Mezzalama bindings do not come supplied with ski brakes. If you would like the adustability of the Mezzalama with brakes then choose the Mezzalama+ (this is the only difference these models).
