Dynafit Blacklight Pro Binding

The Dynafit Blacklight Pro is a high-performance, ultralight ski touring binding designed for ambitious ski mountaineers seeking speed, efficiency, and reliability on demanding tours.
Weighing only 242 g per ski without brakes, The Blacklight Pro ideal for those focused on lightweight gear without sacrificing durability or safety, and has fully adjustable lateral and vertical release with a range of 6-12 DIN. The heel unit has 11 mm of ski flex compensation while the heel baseplate has 20 mm boot sole length adjustment, enough for 3 mondopoint sizes.

The toe piece is made of aluminum with an extended excenter lever to provide easier step-in and ergonomic lever operation. Dynafit's signature Step-In Side Towers make entry into the toe piece 30% easier and increase lateral stability on the descent. The Blacklight Pro's toe pins have the Icebreaker profile to clear ice and muck out of the boot inserts and the toepiece comes complete with the Quick-In Crampon Slot that makes fitting ski crampons quick & easy.

The heel unit incorporates ultralight, high-performance carbon fiber combined with aluminum, delivering an optimal balance of compactness, rigidity, durability, and lightness. With 11 mm of ski flex compensation the Blacklight Pro provides reliable release even when skiing aggressively. The heel baseplate has 20 mm boot sole length adjustment, enough for 3 mondopoint sizes. In walk mode there are two climbing lifts and Dynafit's Bayonet lock system prevents the heel from rotating into ski mode unintentionally.

Like all Dynafit bindings, the Blacklight Pro has been developed and manufactured in Germany and offers their Lifetime Guarantee.
With the Blacklight Dynafit have produced a binding that offers efficient travel uphill and good control for the descent. The Blacklight Pro does not have ski brakes, available as options. The Blacklight Pro+ is the same binding with ski brakes.
