The ATK Trofeo continues unchanged for 2027, ATK know when not to change a great design which has been a great success. The Trofeo is a modern lightweight binding with a very competitive price. The Trofeo is light enough to be used as a race binding and as such is easily the most affordable race binding available. ATK also make a version with a heel unit length adjustment plate, the ATK Trofeo Plus, and this version is an excellent "efficient" touring binding. Weighing only 145 g per ski, the Trofeo is a little heavier than more expensive race bindings but still offers exceptional performance. Simple, reliable and safe due to it's lateral and vertical release, the Trofeo is a great choice for competitions, for fitness training and for lightweight touring. The Trofeo toe units feature ATK's "Easy Entry System" so that boot entry is easy, intuitive and fast. The toe unit has ATK's Monolink Technology 1.0 design whereby only one of the toe piece arms has springs. This design saves weight and provides a higher locking force on the boot for secure boot retention. ATK SRA crampons can be used if the crampon hook is installed, available as an accessory. The heel unit has a minimalist stripped-down design. Like most ultra-light bindings the Trofeo has "U" springs in the heel unit (as opposed to the separate "pins" used in heavier insert bindings). These are available with a choice of 4, 6,8 or 10 release values. Lateral release is not adjustable but the bindings are supplied with the same lateral release setting as the "U" springs installed in the heel unit. The heel unit offers three walking modes, either flat with the binding turned 90°, or +37 mm and +45 mm by rotating the heel unit 180°. There is no boot length adjustment on the heel unit so accurate mounting is essential. Should you need to move the heel unit then the optional R01 adjustment plates give 30 mm adjustment. The Trofeo Plus is exactly the same as the Trofeo except that it is supplied with the R01 plates as standard.
Already a very popular binding, the Trofeo is sure to be in big demand again this winter.
