Faction made their reputation with building next generation fresstyle skis. Last season they updated the flagship Prodigy range with a new construction including a carbon/rubber stomp pad for effective shock absorption however heavy your landing!
The Prodigy 3 is Faction's all-mountain mid-fat freestyle ski, ideal for new school skiers wanting a tool for mixed and soft snow conditions.
The Prodigy 3 is a directional twintip, with 20% rocker at tip and tail for freestyle creativity while the 133-106-125 mm shape provides ultimate downhill performance for attacking the mountain.
Designed & tested at Faction's home in Verbier, Switzerland, handmade in Europe at the finest manufacturing facilities in the world. Built to last.

The Faction Prodigy 3 Capsule skis feature limited edition graphics by Elsa Grace, a technical designer and illustrator from Crested Butte, Colorado.

Sidecut:
Elliptical Sidecut – Elliptical Sidecut is made up of a longer radius underfoot and shorter radii in the tip and tail of the ski. The long radius underfoot means you can pivot faster and easier, while a shorter radius in the tip and tail result in easier turn initiation. This sidecut allows for a wide variety of turn lengths, angles and mounting positions.
Shape:
Directional Twin - A considerably skinnier tail width than in the tip provides ultimate downhill performance for attacking the mountain. A twin tip in the tail encourages playfulness and freestyle attitude, meaning you can ride switch with ease.
Reinforcements:
Carbon Rubber Stomp Pad – For extra absorption on those huge hits
Sidewalls:
Full Strength Sidewall – A construction that places strips of protective material along the sides of each core, between the edge and the topsheet
Edges:
XL 2.5mm Edges – Fractions of a millimeter might not sound like much, but when it comes to edges, it adds up. The 2.5mm edges add an extra 25% of height to Faction's standard 2mm edge, making for a stronger and more durable ski.
