Introduced last season, the Pagoda Tour CFL 100 comes with new laminates and more environmentally friendly ingredients and offers even more versatile performance. The CFL in the name stands for Carbon Flax Laminate. DPS have always used two carbon fibre sheets above and below the core, and it's this design that provides the exceptional smooth damp ride DPS are reknowned for. DPS have now incorporated flax fibres into the laminates, reducing both weight and the amount of carbon fibre used, while still supplying that damp flex we know and love. To highlight this DPS have cut a diamond-shaped window in the topsheet to show the laminate - the flax fibres are the lighter coloured ones. Further enhancing the skis's environmental credentials, the Pagoda Tour 100 CFL has sidewalls made with 60% algae from Checkerspot while the core and laminates are bonded with Super Sap Bio Resin.
DPS's best selling touring ski, the Pagoda Tour CFL 100 is designed for backcountry skiers who want the ability to combine significant vertical gain with a powder descent. Engineered with 40% rocker, 60% cambered platform, the Pagoda Tour CFL 100 offers unrivaled float and uphill efficiency. Combining a playful character with predictable, intuitive turns, the Pagoda Tour CFL 100 performs whatever the terrain, from open slopes to steep, demanding couloirs.
