Neil

Neil started skiing in the Scotland when he hired lightweight tele gear and skied Cairngorm to Ben Macdhui. He was bitten and not by the midges! This was fantastic.
He toured in Norway, Sweden, Finland, New Zealand and Canada, covering vast distances because there was a problem - the skis only went straight!!
You've heard the phrase "turning is failure"? Back then turning was just impossible....
In 1995 Neil and Rosie opened Telemark Pyrenees. He's still totally crazy on freeheel skiing and now manages to link the odd turn - thanks to dramatic improvements in bindings and boots that have propelled the sport into the 21st century. In the summer Neil hikes and bikes, and tries to overcome his vertigo on via ferrata.
