Plum's goal is to produce light yet robust bindings for the full range of ski touring styles, from SKIMO racing, classic touring to freerando and freeride skiing.
Plum bindings are renowned for their strength and reliability, so much so that many bindings come with a 5 year guarantee, while the Guide 7 & 12 bindings now have a 10 year guarantee!!
For 2025 Plum have overhauled their Race and Light Touring categories.
Plum Race / Ultralight 2026 Bindings
In the Race category the R World Cup stays unchanged apart from the colour - now gold, to match those SKIMO medals.
The R World Cup weighs only 140 g per ski including the Race ski brakes.
These race ski brakes weigh only 29 g per ski and can also be used on the new R130 and R140 race bindings. These bindings have a completely new toe unit which offers even faster step-in, while the heel unit now has a heel lift with 3 positions - uphill, race and ski. The R130 & R140 bindings are identical apart from the “U” spring in the heel unit, titanium in the R130 for minimum weight and steel in the R140 for durability.

Only slightly heavier than the pure Race bindings, the S170 has the same toe unit as the R140 combined with a heel unit mounted on a base plate with 20 mm boot length adjustment. Weighing (you guessed it) only 170 g per ski without brakes, the S170 is also available with ski brakes in 80, 90 or 100 mm widths.
Light Touring 2026 Bindings
The excellent Oazo bindings stay unchanged for 2026. Weighing only 206 g per ski including ski crampon slots, adjustable lateral release 4-10 DIN and fixed vertical release with a choice of 4, 6 or 8 DIN, the Oazo has been one of our best selling minimalist bindings for several years.
Plum have developed the new Serac bindings from the Oazo, with a new toe unit offering intuitive step-in. The heel unit has a base unit with 20 mm boot sole adjustment, and 8 mm of flex compensation - 4 mm between the boot and the heel unit plus a 4 mm flex mechanism. Available without ski brakes, or with a choice of 80, 90, 100 or 110 mm wide ski brakes, the Serac has the same range of release as the Oazo - adjustable lateral release 4-10 DIN and fixed vertical release with a choice of 4, 6 or 8 DIN.

Weighing only 340 g per ski, the Kairn is Plum’s lightest binding with adjustable vertical and lateral release. The Kairn has the same toe unit as the Serac, matched with a heel unit with lateral & vertical release 4+10 DIN, dual climbing heels with 50 & 65 mm height, 20 mm boot sole adjustment and the same 8 mm ski flex compensation as the Serac.
Weighing only 355 g per ski including ski brakes, available in a choice of 80, 90, 100, 110 mm widths.
Plum Freetouring Bindings
These stay the same for 2026. The Guide 7 and Guide 12 bindings need no introduction. Super strong no-nonsense bindings that have been the bindings of choice of the French military, Plum now offer a 10 year guarantee on these bindings.
The Karibou 7 and 14 are Plum’s most sophisticated bindings. Weighing 455 g without brakes and 565 g with, like the Guide these solid bindings are built to last, hence the 5 year guarantee. The Karibou bindings have a unique patented flex compensation system in the toe unit, which is mounted on a baseplate and can move forward / backward 8 mm as the ski flexes. Designed for skis up to 120 m underfoot, the Karibou has extra-wide toe and heel baseplates to ensure maximum torsional rigidity and optimum control.

Renowned for their reliability and robust construction, Plum supply the French military.
Plum have been producing bindings for over 20 years from their factory in the French alps and are dedicated to reducing their environmental footprint as much as possible. 98% of their production is made in the French Alps with 77% in their factory at Thyez and 21% nearby in the Haute Savoie.
